Khasab Musandam Tour From Dubai
Most Musandam tours begin in Khasab. Ours begins at your doorstep in Dubai. Three and a half hours later, the road gives way to fjords few travelers ever reach, dolphins at the water’s edge, cliffs rising straight from the sea, a stretch of Oman that still feels untouched.

A Full Day in the Khasab Fjords
The drive from Dubai heads north through Ras Al Khaimah to the Al Dara border. Our team handles the paperwork on both sides while you wait in the vehicle. Once across into Oman the road enters the mountains and the coastline opens up below. Khasab is around 45 minutes from the border.
At Khasab port a traditional Omani dhow is ready at the dock. The boat heads deep into Khor Sham past the fishing villages of Nadafi, Qanaha, Maqlab and Sham. Spinner dolphins and humpback dolphins are common at the fjord entrance. The first stop is Telegraph Island, named after the British relay station built here in 1864 for the first submarine telegraph cable. Seebi Island follows in the afternoon, the water here is the clearest on the route. Lunch comes out on deck between the two stops. AED 535 covers the full day including transport, border crossing, all stops and lunch.

Khasab Oman Day Tour Itinerary
06:00 AM — Pickup from Dubai
Your driver arrives at your door. Exact pickup time and location confirmed the night before on WhatsApp. Sharjah guests are collected around 06:50 AM and RAK guests around 07:30 AM.
08:30 AM — Al Dara Border Crossing
The UAE-Oman border at Al Dara is where most first-time visitors get nervous, but you don’t have to. Our team handles the paperwork and visa process on both sides. Follow the instructions of the border team to make it easier.
09:30 AM — Board the Dhow at Khasab Port
Your dhow and crew are ready at Khasab port. Step aboard and enjoy Arabic coffee, tea, fresh fruits and soft drinks as the crew prepares to depart.
10:00 AM — Into the Khasab Fjords
The dhow leaves Khasab port and heads into Khor Sham. The mountains rise on both sides as the boat moves deeper into the fjord. En route the dhow passes the fishing villages of Nadafi, Qanaha, Maqlab and Sham, small communities accessible only by boat.
10:45 AM — Dolphins
Spinner dolphins are a regular presence at the fjord entrance. They follow the bow, surface alongside the boat and disappear back into the water. The crew knows where to find them.
12:00 PM — Telegraph Island
The dhow anchors at Telegraph Island where British engineers built a relay station for the first submarine telegraph cable. Snorkeling gear and kayaks go into the water here. The reef is shallow and clear.
01:00 PM — Lunch on Deck
As the dhow leaves Telegraph Island lunch comes out. Fried chicken, lentil curry, mixed vegetable curry, rice, hummus, Arabic bread (khubz), green salad and unlimited soft drinks and water. The boat moves toward Seebi Island while you eat.
01:30 PM — Seebi Island
The afternoon swim stop. The water here is calm and shallow close to shore. Most guests swim, snorkel or simply float before the boat turns back toward Khasab port.
04:00 PM — Return to Khasab Port
The dhow turns back toward port. The Al Dara border crossing back into the UAE takes around the same time as the morning crossing. Our team handles everything.
07:30 PM — Back at Your Door
You are dropped at the same point you were collected from in the morning. The day is done and the only thing you had to manage was showing up on time.
